What do YOU feed your sourdough starter?
I read of a lady feeding her pollen, rye (most likely flour, lol), and honey to her 150 year old starter. Honey makes it funky & bubbly, she said. 1. What unique foods have you fed yours? 2. What changes have various unique additions added, in look, flavor, other?

Sourdough starter as a replacement for yeast?
We are really missing bread!!! Now we are gluten free and also can't have yeast I'm looking for ideas! Has anyone made a small batch of sourdough starter to use as yeast in bread recipes? I thought of trying gluten free sourdough but think that would be too much for the occasional bread tree. Maybe I'm thinking too much…
