Tell me aboout Amaranth
I planted two varieties of Amaranth this year... mainly because someone sent me some seeds. I probably planted them too deep, as they have not come up yet. IF they do, how would y'all suggest I eat this plant? I know the seeds can be used as a grain, but I seem to recall someone saying the leaves were good as a green?

I'll be pruning rose bushes today
I have a lot of winter-killed rose bush canes that I need to tend to this afternoon. Here are some helpful articles that I have found in preparation for the chore. I'll throw the dead stuff into the burn barrel for later disposal.

Those Bulbs I Planted Last Fall
I am happy to report that all 14 of the hyacinth bulbs and at least 35 of the 40 tulips I planted are popping up! Here's a photo from today, April 4, 2020.
