we have a 1 acre pond on our property..stocked with fish..part of living with the land is allowing the wildlife to live in harmony with itself do its natural thing.

Thanks Heather for that link. I know my pond is tiny in comparison but I'll see what I can do in the spring. We have a racoon problem in our area so first step will be to net off the pond. Hope to do that in winter when the surrounding perennial vegetation has died off.
