Jewelry storage advice
I recommend that you use hanging storage only for chain jewelry items because:
Items made with jewelry wire will stretch and leave gaps between beads and clasp.
Stretch items will, well...stretch out.
Silver will tarnish, gold will change color slightly.
I now store my jewelry flat and use paper anti-tarnish strips.
I also found that
fish bone cable organizers work great to keep chain from tangling as shown in attached photo.
The cable organizers and anti-tarnish strips are available from multiple sources including Amazon. I found cable organizers at a dollar store as well.

To add some additional ideas to those that @shllnzl posted:
Decorative metal sheets used for door kicks and radiator covers are available at Home Improvement stores and lumberyards (HD, Do It Best, etc). The metal sheets are attached with small screws to an ordinary bulletin board. The result is a beautiful way to display your earrings, whether post or dangle!
One could also use this idea for a classy message station using magnets! Happy Crafting!!! 😀

I recommend pirate treasure chests, deep in the sea or buried on a deserted island in the tropics. If you have ever see the child like look of giddy glee and ecstatic joy on a pirates face when they find a buried box of jewellery, its priceless.
