Is this Passion Flower?

I was walking the dog earlier and saw this beautiful flower. On closer inspection, there was fruit. After some Googling I think it's Passion Flower. Does anyone agree? If not do you know what it is?

I believe it is. I just started growing them this year but I don't know what the fruit looks like or if all varieties form a fruit. I've had flowers on one of them but no fruit as yet.

Absolutely, without any doubt, you have a passion flower and at least 1 very edible passion fruit (once it gets ripe). Good find.

Yes it is! We also call them May Pop around here. Great plant.

Thanks everyone It's just growing wild, there are about 5 or 6 different vines with about 10 fruits. I'm going to take some cutting and see if I can move some to my garden area.

Once the fruit is ready, you may be able to get seed to plant for next spring.

My photo is one of my passion flowers. One of the starts I was given bloomed for the first time yesterday and it looks a lot like the one you found. At least the photo I want to use as soon as I figure out how to make it sized for the web lol.

re "figure out how to make it sized for the web":

A decade ago before I met my good friend Photographer Janice, another friend w/ no clue how to either take or send photos, volunteered. She did that because I had no cell-phone, & so could not send anything anywhere. Aside which, I shy-away from most computer contraptions... Somehow I got left in the dark ages, lol.

Um, suffice it to say her > 1 to 5 Mb < 🤨 photos jammed our email program, & soo many early photos can never be restored, that I know of. Next Janice had to X-change, &/or Update her phones several times, & each time we had to play yet another Guessing-game for 100's more photos. - Then one day, someone else suggested this "Windows Paint" program you can get on a bigger computer. Since then I am trying my best to get multiple 100's of photos down to like 200kbytes. I think that means some pixel-size ?, but I'm so dumb re most 'computer' anythings, that it takes a while before I get to each A-ha moment, lol

Then today missing important details, while trying to figger out... what exactly each of the RULES here specifically mean,

the www spit this out: https://www.easy-resize.com/en/ is that something you @seeker.nancy can use for your pictures ?

Yes, definitely a passion flower. I have one growing in my back yard. Pick the fruit when it is soft and has a dark color. I like to blend mine (strain out the seeds if you like), add some lemon juice and sparkling water. Very refreshing!

@seeker.nancy Soo Pretty. Thanks for sharing. And re "is this small enough?" - Don't ask me. I have NO idea. Looks fantastic to me,

There are untold ! many Beautiful plants, - and yet sooo many I could not plant in my 55 foot https://community.thegrownetwork.com/discussion/841832/continuing-rainbows/p1 rainbow. Why? because (like this gorgeous Passion-flower here), it has too many colors, that it would make the whole parade look even more, like the drunk-party 🤨 it looks like now LOL - oh I just checked & Noticed that someone Resized many of my photos in there down. Maybe @Jimerson ? Looking much better now, Really...
