GROW: The Book
I've been seeing this flower/plant everywhere here in North Texas over the past week or so, but I am not having too much luck identifying it . . .
Anyone know what this might be?
Oh, wow! I haven't seen that one around! Looking forward to the answer!
Oh btw, @Jimerson, here's another idea for a possible new forum category - "Plant (and animal?) Identification!" Or maybe a broader "Foraging" category?
wow, this makes me realize how much I dpend on smell, touch, and taste in identifying plants...
Do you think it might be Euphorbia bicolor
@pamelamackenzie Looks like a match to me!
My initial thought was euphorbia. 😊
@pamelamackenzie That's it! Thank you!
I had never seen, or at least noticed, these before but I ❤️ it's common name, "Snow on the Prairie". My first thought when I noticed them was that they looked like frost tipped plants covering the fields!
After my run in with Stinging Nettle especially, I'm a little cautious on picking and sniffing stuff before I know for sure what it is! 😅🤣 One day I hope to have your skill level with it all, @Marjory Wildcraft, but for now, I respect and am patient with what I don't know haha!
