essential oils, your fav's

I am working on a list of eo's to purchase. I have a list of favorites/necessaries:

rosemary, lavender, oregano, tea tree, lemon, frankincense.

If anyone has recommendations for additions to this list I would appreciate all input as I am going to restock my low supply as well as add a few new ones. My knowledge of essential oil use is quite limited and I plan to take some of the courses offered in our group but until I am able to do so I value the knowledge on this group so welcome all input.

Oil of Clove for toothaches and other things. I love all of the evergreen oils. Balsam Fir, Black Spruce, Scotch Pine and one of my favorites, Cedarwood (Cedrus species not Thuja species). They are great for respiratory issues. So is Eucalyptus. Some people love Rose essential oil if you can afford it. But I see you have frankincense on your list and from my experience it is quite expensive as well. Black Pepper is in a lot of blends for pain relief as well as digestion. Thyme oil is highly antibacterial.

If I could only take one oil with me to be stuck on a deserted island, it would be frankincense! That said I love murh, oregano, and lavender too.

I've been collecting essential oils since I was a teenager(I'm in my 4th decade now) but mostly for perfume making purposes. So these may or may not be the most useful, but they are my favorites- 1. sweet orange 2. pink grapefruit 3. yuzu 4. bergamot 5. green mandarin (see a theme?) 5. cardamon 6. cinnamon leaf 7. pink pepper and a new favorite 8. Rosalina- it smells so clean and fresh, not as medicinal as say, tea tree or eucalyptus https://www.planttherapy.com/rosalina-essential-oil

I also love the classics like eucalyptus and peppermint.

One of my favorite topics! 😍

I use EO's for medicine and body care. So, for us, the most important ones for medicine, (in order of importance), are:

    Frankincense

    Peppermint

    Lavender

    Clove Bud

    Tea Tree

    Eucalyptus

    Rosemary

    Oregano
