Women's Work Gloves

Anyone know of a good work glove made for a woman's hand? I have small hands and find work gloves, in general, are made for a man's hands and even a small is too large. A good fitting pair would make life much easier and make my hands so happy!!

@merlin44 what type of work are you doing?
Nitrile gloves I like (found in the gardening section) when you need the range and motion of your hands to be able to complete a job. When I need more thickness, I always get a pair of gloves at winter time. Many of the winter gloves have padding but they come in all ranges of sizes. You might even check the kid's gloves section if you can't find a pair of adults which fit you well enough.

These are gardening gloves I use:
Digz are a narrow fit with vinyl underside.
Gardena is cloth on top, vinyl underside.
Wells Lamont is a looser fit 60% cotton to 40% polyester.

These are my choice gloves. You can get them in different lengths too.

If you check out a feed & tack store you might find leather Ropers gloves in Ladies or at the very least small sizes. They have a snug fit and after a few wearings get quite supple and easy to work in.

The same problem arises with women's work clothes. Why must I pay double the price for quality work clothes that fit just because I'm female? Men's work clothes, although that's what I usually buy, never fit quite right.

Not sure if we are allowed to mention brand names here or not but I have found that the Carhartt brand has well fitting women's wear that is the same price (or sometimes less) as the men's.

I also like the Carhartt brand. I have some nice leather work gloves from them that I really enjoy using, and I do have smaller hands. I also have a great set of neoprene gloves that I use when caring for the chickens over the winter. I'm not sure of the brand -- which I know isn't very helpful (sorry!) -- but I think I got them at the local hardware store. They are waterproof and insulated, which are the two things that save my hands when I'm refilling chicken waterers in zero-degree temps!
