Ah, how darling! Our trailer park management won't let us have chickens. But considering the small space we each have, I understand. But now I wish we had baby chicks! I'd love to try that!

It is a cute idea, but you would have to make sure that they werent treated and that they were placed over the heat mat.
We always enjoy having new little ones try to hide under our cupped hands. When I use paper towel in the brooder, there are always a few who like to hide underneath.

What an awesome idea - makes me wish I had chicks.
Oh that’s so sweet!
That's adorable! But will they grow up thinking they are ostriches?
@blevinandwomba And perhaps lay larger eggs if they do think they're ostriches?
Someone thought of what a baby chick needs. This is like the baby monkey hanging on the stuffed toy for comfort.

@merlin44 Genius!

Chicks are so fun!
@wbt.affiliates could you keep quail?
That's too cute!
@Laurie No livestock at all, unless we keep them inside. Space is limited for everyone, both inside and out. I understand the reason for the rules.
Besides, it's all I can do to keep up with the small patch of land that I garden. I'm not sure I have the energy for raising chickens again.
