Chocolate recipe of the day!

I bought quite few chocolate bars for my holiday baking/candy making. Today I mixed up a little something with two half candy bars I had, and it turned out to be quite a good combination

Dark chocolate, about one bar - I used a mix of a 75% and and 85% dark chocolate

coconut butter- about a quarter of the amount of chocolate- I didn't measure

several tablespoons walnuts, 2 tablespoons raisins, and a pinch of sea salt

I chopped the raisins, though that might not have been necessary. I gently melted the chocolate and coconut butter, then stirred in the sea salt, raisins, and walnuts. When it was mostly cool and quite thick I scooped it out onto parchment paper, and broke it into chunks once completely cool. You can't really taste the coconut butter, but I think it mellowed the mixture.

@blevinandwomba and yes you have just prepared yourself a chocolate raisin nut cluster.

Just think, many places sell that for up to $20 per pound (or more depending on your local market) and you figured it out just playing around.

    Enjoy it!
