A Story

Mrs. Wildcraft expressed an interest in the tradition of story telling I grew up with in the southern Appalachian mountains. For me, telling stories and playing music is a big part of independent, more self reliant living. People spend a lot on entertainment. I've spent plenty on old instruments and books... but stories are free! I'm out of practice, and it is a little rough, but I hope y'all enjoy it: https://youtu.be/I7nRzoHOUVc

Thanks for sharing. Some of my favorite memories of the years I spent as a student and then staff member of Wilderness Awareness School are of sitting around a fire listening to stories.
I can write a story, but there's a real art to telling a story, and I don't seem to be able to pull it off.

Thanks @Mary Linda Bittle It just takes practice.... and you have to be as entertained by the story as are the listeners.
