Lap robe from a destroyed sweater

Another project from a felted sweater. I lucked into one of those hip length Irish wool sweaters (Aran Crafts label) that was so moth-eaten that I could not repair it. So I felted it, and cut out the best sections to make this lap robe. I hand sewed the 3 pieces into a square, and used red quilt binding to cover the seams. One of the pieces had a pocket on it, so I sewed the label onto the pocket. It is nice and warm to cover my legs while I'm working at the computer, and keeps the cat's claws from scratching my leg when she jumps up on my lap. It's about 36 inches on each side.
