They apparently still make them. I use a couple brands of "barefoot" equivalent shoes: Xero and Lems.

I'm trying again here. It's been that kind of a day...

Does anyone remember Earth Shoes? Apparently they're back. https://earthshoes.com/earth-kalso-grounded-heel-shoes

It's worth looking at the page just to be glad the 70's are long past.

I am wondering if there is any validity to negative or grounded heels as they call them now. Our insurance isn't paying for chiropractic anymore, so if these would help with spinal alignment it might be a worthwhile investment.

Also, does anyone know how to change the title of my post so that it makes sense? I must have still been under the effects of the 70's video on the Earth Shoe page when I hit "Enter" by mistake.

@Gail H I read that Earth shoes have a negative heel and that is not good for you. I went to the barefoot style to build up foot muscles and balance. My foot pain went down about 75% and my balance and knees are better due to the shoes and an exercise program.
