Interesting....maybe someday. It would be nice to be yeast free.
Also, my sourdough starter is kind of like having another pet to feed; this one lives in the refrigerator.

@silvertipgrizz Thank you for sharing. I have "The Art of Fermentation" by Sandor Katz and he talks about making sourdough with wild yeast. I haven't made any yet but I hope to do so this year since I didn't last year. But basically you create your starter and the yeast that populates it comes from the flour used and the bacteria in your kitchen.
