Call duck condo

It is a spacious yet cozy 8 square feet. Open concept. Carpeted with a layer of fresh straw. Food delivery right to the door. Fantastic air conditioning. Duck balcony & pool spa to be added at a later date.

We started with a large shipping crate and used a door off a broken animal carrier and the grate off of an old air conditioner unit.

We will raise this at some point as well to prevent things from hiding underneath & so that we can put small square bales underneath for winter. Open areas will also get covered come late fall.

I think it is beautiful. I am happy. So was our son. The ducks like it too.

Looks great @LaurieLovesLearning! I can see there might be some competition over who gets to sleep in the duck condo :)

We have two beautiful, tiny, blue eggs in two perfect nests. We are very pleased that the coop will house many new ducklings before April is complete.

    I will post pictures! 🥰

Well, I didn't post pictures here, but I did in another thread.

We finished lime washing the condo for mite control & now have all of the calls in the one box for the winter.

It is not just a condo, it is our "quacker" box! 🤣
