Adrienne Fiakas – One Hour Cheese

I have made cheese before but never like this. So easy! Very well done presentation!
-
Was this an older presentation? I remember it from before and loved it. It was so helpful for making mozzarella, which used to come out like rubber for me. I had a kit with directions but use a this method now and the results are drool-worthy. Yum.

Thank you Adrienne!

I love making cheese!

Hi @Megan Venturella yes, we ran this a few years back? But it was so well produced, just fet it would be good to run again. Mmmm, home made cheese.
-
I always think cheese is too hard to make at home, but I do make yogurt. Mental block, I guess. Good presentation. Will have to give it a try.

I am starting on my cheesemaking journey now!

I have only had luck with non- ultra pasteurized milk for cheese.... and unfortunately that is the only type of milk for sale at any store I've found in NC. Ultra Pasteurized is very different than just regular pasteurized. It makes mozzarella with the toughness and texture of golf balls! I can buy raw milk in SC, and it is WONDERFUL! Anyway, just wanted to warn folks that if your cheese fails, it can be because of ultra pasteurization.

Me too! So exciting!

Could you use a nondairy milk?

I and my daughters have been making various cheeses for many years. If you ever need any tips or have any questions, post in the forum & I will be happy to help out or troubleshoot.
