Hello and thanks for watching! I'd love to hear from you in the comments today. Which of these challenges have you faced in your gardening? What has worked well for you in the past? And what ideas or plants do you want to try with the children in your life?

Amy, your presentation is *excellent*!!! I passed this link on to my daughter who just bought a home, and hopefully she'll tune in! 😊 Your advice is very thoughtful and informative. You don't have to be a parent or grandparent to learn a few things from your talk. You are an awesome teacher!!! I'm heading on over to your website! Marjory, you've found another gem!!! 😃❤️

Thank you, Barbara and Leza! We're pleased to be part of the great line-up at the summit, and it was fun to put this talk together for it! ☺️

That was wonderful. Thank you, Amy, for sharing your wisdom with us. This winter I had each of the kids look at the seed catalogs and choose things they want to grow. I'm hoping that will help get them more interested. I've got one who likes to help plant so I know he'll be out there at the start, and one who loves numbers and records (I think I'll put her in charge of tracking growth and yield this year). The other two are iffy, but you've given me some ideas on how to get them out in the garden too.

Molly, it sounds like you are well on your way to getting them all excited about exploring in the garden! Love the idea of getting your numbers whiz involved in tracking. 💡Glad you have some additional ideas for the other two. And even if they're not actively gardening, the time outside with you will be well-spent! 😀 (LOL - this is Amy! I didn't realize Colby was signed in 😋.)

We (kids & I) enjoyed listening. They are starting to feel the anticipation of planting.

We have a few things already started inside, including a few beans, which will actually flower soon!
