Always learn so much. Just wondering if there is anything that can help with gigardia? And thanks for talking about colitis, about a month ago I spent a week in the hospital with colitis and was on 3 different antibiotics, which made me even more sick. I will definitely get some of the things you recommended. Thank you for sharing all that you do!!!
-
Thank you so much for the great talk and making it fun to learn. I like your humor. Really a lot of good information. I am happy to have found this summit. So I learned about you and what you teach. Keep doing what you do.
-
Love your information and your style! I hope you are a presenter at every Summit!

Raw garlic is hard on Giardia as is milk thistle. Also, any of the herbs that contain berberine ie...Oregon grape, Barberry, Goldenseal.

Patrick, that was great! I enjoyed it! Your medical and herbal knowledge is so solid! I enjoyed your first edition of your book as well! Thank you for reminding me of the answer to my "gnawing" question about how cows get nutrients out of grass, and we don't. I am so glad I am not a horse, or a rabbit! I'm glad you aren't either! I would have missed out on understanding many of your jokes!
Your brother Barry, (one of the other "doctors Jones" in our family)

Hi Barry!
Glad you could swing by. :0)

Always enjoy your informative presentations Doc! My herbal garden wish-list gets longer every time though ;-)

LOL. I feel your pain. I have over a hundred species on my place. I could do all the work I'm doing with half that many but I get emotionally attached to the little rascals.
-
Thanks, Dr. Jones! You're the best!! So appreciate you sharing your knowledge, making it practical, and sharing your slides!
-
Glad to share. Thanks for watching.
-
@Patrick "I feel your pain."
There should be an herb for that. 😆

Always fun to watch your presentations, Dr. Jones. I've got a wisdom tooth acting up and was wondering about getting some clove oil, but now I know I should be able to make a paste with the ground cloves I have. I figure fresh cloves would be better, but this thing had to start on a weekend so I'm using what I've got on hand. Thank you!
-
Tinctures penetrate better but plain old cloves work pretty well too.

Dr. Jones you mentioned in your first presentation about not giving your dog garlic. I cook with a lot of garlic and my dog gets the scraps. Now you said when it's cooked the garlic works differently so is it okay that my dog eats it? Love this presentation also so much to learn and some of those herbs already growing in my garden. Sage, Rosemary, Peppermint and mint, lemon balm, Basil. I bought some yarrow powder and has never used it so how long should I keep it, it's in a plastic bag? My name is Patricia.
-
Cooked garlic is less dangerous than fresh for dogs. If he's only getting "flavoring" levels in his table scraps, it probably won't be an issue at all.
-
Thanks for watching Karen. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Have a look at the website and the school. I'd love to be part of your herbal journey. :0)
