I know Doc is going to be coming online soon.
Watching this it sure encourages me to use those spices! I sometimes forget... it's nice to know how medicinal they are.

I was just about to buy peeled garlic cloves in one of those big jars. After your caveat on not heating garlic, I'm wondering if this would be a bad idea.
-
I especially liked the differentiation of fever-reducing herbs. The humor was fun, too! I'm just beginning to learn about herbs and am very interested in what the weeds in my yard are and do, so I'm heading for your book right now!
-
If it's commercially produced and in a jar, my guess is it was heated beyond what would be good for the medicine.

I love cardamom and cinnamon on a baked sweet potato, with melted butter and a bit of honey! Knowing that kitchen spices are good for me is an extra bonus!
-

Amazing amount of useful information presented in an engaging way! Love your humor and practical, easy-going style of presentation. Will definitely follow up with checking out your website, books, and online classes.
Some questions for you, if possible: Which herbs would someone on Warfarin/Coumadin need to stay away from and would any herbs be particularly beneficial to them? Same questions for someone who has had their gall bladder removed....
Thank you for this presentation! Just the right thing at just the right time...
-
I love watching him, he always makes me laugh!.. Great information too!!

Hi, My name is Patricia. Love the presentation and all of the information that you have given. Very very useful!!! Thank you so much!!! Please send me the Slides on PDF. I cook with garlic every time I cook so does that mean that my immune system is not really getting the boost it needs, and my dog eat our scraps so is this not good because you said it loses it dies when I cook it? I tried to use the email address and it doesn't work I tried 2 times.

Does pickled garlic work like raw garlic? Do you get all the benefits of the raw garlic?
-
How much ginger would you give a border collie size dog for worms? Also does pickled garlic (not canned) work as medicine?
-
As always, I learned something new today. I learned a few new things, actually! Now to remember when the situation comes around. ;) Maybe the herb will "talk" to me just like that turmeric!
-
Thank you, Doc. Jones, for sharing such useful information. I have a couple of questions: First, would all of the antispasmodics you mentioned act on all parts of the body and relevant systems (smooth & skeletal muscles, respiratory tract, circulation, nerves, etc.)? And the other question is whether it matters whether the ginger is fresh or dried.
-
Thanks Doc - another info packed - easy to use - and entertaining presentation!
