Any recommendations on where I could get organic lavender that grows as a perennial over the winter in growing zones 5b and 6a (Indiana) I've heard there are varieties that keep their leaves over the winter. I have such a hard time growing lavender by seed - it takes most of the summer for it to look like a real plant and then it is discouraging for it to die over the winter. I even dig it up, pot it and bring it in doors and it doesn't thrive.

WOuld love ideas of places to purchase and varieties!
