QUESTION: Live Horsetail Source?
If anyone remembers where to get 'horsetail' plant I would sure appreciate you joggling my memory. About 4 months or so ago there was a conversation about that and I found a company that a few others have purchased from that I want to check for purchase next week, but cannot remember who they are..would sure save me having to go back and look for it and would be much appreciated!!!

@silvertipgrizz This is where I got mine. It's doing quite well. http://springdalewatergardens.com/

Maybe its only available at certain times of year, I don’t see any currently at this link- thank you for the recommendation, I am interested in this too, might check earlier in year :)

@csinclair461 It's on the page for bog plants. https://springdalewatergardens.com/ShopSite/pbog.html

@silvertipgrizz Homedepot has it in 2.5 gallon container. https://www.homedepot.com/p/national-PLANT-NETWORK-2-5-Qt-Native-Horsetail-Reed-Equisetum-Plant-in-black-pot-HD7195/312498851?mtc=Shopping-B-F_D28O-G-D28O-28_8_LIVE_GOODS-MULTI-NA-Feed-PLA-NA-NA-BASE_SHP_Tropical_HousePlants&cm_mmc=Shopping-B-F_D28O-G-D28O-28_8_LIVE_GOODS-MULTI-NA-Feed-PLA-NA-NA-BASE_SHP_Tropical_HousePlants-71700000045863799-58700005430382376-92700049473434765&gclid=CjwKCAjw_LL2BRAkEiwAv2Y3SchDvdkXNF8Bm2urbkKNcU9x6Gnj32xzliP7-GmRtHDYuAce7WtdeBoCJFAQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
Costs a lot more than the link from @csinclair461 but you get a big pot versus a 2 inch pot

@tomandcara I just posted the link for multiple Mason Bee vid's, including the one many of us missed in the spring..not the second one on the summer leaf cutter bees, but the spring bees..
Thanks for this link. I think there is a Homedepot not too far and if so I'll beeee picking some up so thanks much..I have looked online and never got a find that any of the box stores carried it!!!
-
@silvertipgrizz I think you have to order the horsetail online at the link above and have them ship it to your home. At least here in my area, that is the case. Thank you for the posting with the Mason Bee video links!!

@tomandcara You're welcome, and I'll do some calling around the local box stores for the horsetail..hopefully one close will have it so I can avoid the shipping.
btw, last summer I subbed to a professional bee keeper who spends his business time removing bees from unwanted areas. I watched one of them that the tree was very old and the hive was huge and the property/home owners were pretty frightened of them...It was quite interesting to watch this man work as he removes the bees, many many times without any harm to the bees so he just relocates them if I remember correctly..
Some time I will try to find his site and post a few here for all interested.
