Lint on hung dry clothes

Ok this is something that had plagued me forever and I just cannot figure out what to do about it.
*How* do you keep your clothes lint free if you hang dry them? I prefer to dry my clothes outside and I cannot stop them from being lint covered out of the washer

I hang my clothes on the line too but I honestly haven’t had a problem with them being lint covered out of the washer. I’m not sure what is causing that. I’m interested to find out if you discover what is causing it. Good luck!

@burekcrew86 well that's good to know! It only seems like it's on certain fabric types. I wonder if it's time to clear out the drain in the washer or something

@GardenMama there should be a lint screen somewhere in the washer that can be cleaned and that should help. They do still put those in washing machines don't they? I'll have to check mine, no idea lol! Anyway, if there is one in your machine it likely does need to be cleaned - good luck!

@seeker.nancy oh I didn't even think about that! I'll check. Thank you!

@GardenMama let me know if your machine has one; I "date" myself frequently now 😂

@GardenMama My problem is pet hair that clings to certain fabrics. I have to run them through the dryer for at least a brief time to get rid of most of the hair.
