DIY Potato bug solution

EDIT: Video link no longer valid. Description of video: bug sweeper made with 4 brooms on a turning apparatus/bar that sweep the bugs off of the plants and into a waiting rectangular metal catch pan with sides. A man pushes the contraption (that is on wheels) forward to make the broom part turn in a sideways windmill action, sweeping the bugs into the pan that is to the side.

I thought the above solution was SO VERY FANTASTIC and it could be fun. 😃 To make this idea even better, smoosh up the beetles and mix with water & use a watering can to sprinkle it onto the plants. This discourages more from taking up residence on your plants.
