Just want to say Hello!
Thank you for letting me join. Learning new things in TN after 20 years in TX. Like my old friends Japanese beetles, which come out each June here and love my cherry trees, hate them, but better than fire ants. Looking forward To all we can share.

I am a newbie too. Hope to share my thoughts as I learn from everyone

Welcome to all the newbies. I know you will have a great time checking out all the forums and getting involved. Lots of experience and interesting information out there. Love all the ideas circulating around out there. So again a very heartfelt welcome and jump right in the water is fine.

Welcome!!

Hi,
I have been gardening small-time since a couple of years. I figure I'm learning because I'm making new mistakes :)
Cheers.

Welcome! I live right on the NC/TN line - its a great place to be..... although, I prefer western swing to bluegrass.
-
Welcome @TNTX girl . This a great community. And it is international so as we go into heavy summer, our southern hemishpere members are in the dead of winter. Have fun and again, welcome
-
Thanks for the welcome! From zone 9 to 6a is a little bit of a relearning curve. And as feisty as Texas snakes are, the one I just met here on the Plateau must have had TX roots. That little bugger would not go back into the woods he wanted to fight. Oh well, I got him to see it my way and go play in the woods. Have a great Sunday!

Welcome @TNTX girl !
Be sure to get out of the witness protection program and upload an image to your profile. (grin)

welcome @Viju and Lynne. Sorry don't know which Lynne to click on as there are so many. Maybe with a common name like Lynne, there could be an add-on to help identify which Lynne is posting. Maybe a number or other initial added? Just a thought.

Welcome everyone! There are so many new "faces" here and it is awesome. We all bring a little something different to the table. Even if you are new to some of the topics here there are others you may have some experience and/or knowledge of that no one else here has.
-
Changing growing zones can definitely be a challenge. I went the opposite direction and went from zone 5 to 7... and it took quite a while to get used to the fact so many things bloomed at once instead of progression of plants blooming like I was used to when living further north. Good luck with getting used to the new growing climate! :-)

@TNTX girl welcome...

Welcome, @TNTX girl , @Noel Davey Davey , @KimWilson, @rayerodgers and any that I missed. You will be glad your signed on - there are a lot of things to learn and to teach. All good, all positive and supportive. If you been doing it 50+ years, you can still learn - seasons change, seeds and varieties change, weather changes - we need all the insight we can get.
So thank you to all who are contributing - I'm glad to be here.
