Peaches- Family vs. Pests
Is anyone else fighting pests to get the Peaches off the plants they put in the ground? This year, 2020, I will get enough to can. But2018&2019 were all to the pests!
what can I do; without the neighborhood cat to scare off birds and bugs, my peaches have gone to the pests!

@Lisa Pizza There is another discussion started about organic sprays for fruit trees. There are only a couple of comments so far but hopefully there will be more suggestions for you. https://community.thegrownetwork.com/discussion/844220/organic-spray-for-fruit-trees#latest
Maybe get a new neighbourhood cat?

I can't give you an answer but I can tell you from experience it seems to be the hardest of all the fruits to grow organically.
So far within the last five years I have had two peach orchards go out of business and a third one threaten too stop this year because they all say it is a lot of work and still there is years where you get next to no harvest.
I always try to buy a couple of bushels each summer to can and freeze and it is getting very difficult to find someone still growing them.
So if it is any consolation, even the "so-called experts" have the same problems you are describing.
