Hi,

I just made my own nettle fertiliser by allowing nettles to brew for 2 weeks covered in water. It is really stinky but it is full of nutrients for my vegetables. Just wondering from your experience what plants like nettle feed the most and which plants should I avoid giving it to?

This is a great idea, thanks. I have seen comfrey "tea" recommended. I have nettles in the yard so I will do it.

@smik123 From what I have read leafy plants like nettle feed, it encourages growth. Comfrey feed is best for plants when fruit appears. Best of luck!

I have definitely heard of using comfrey tea. Also have used it as a drop and chop for enriching the soil. Friends have also used nettle as drop and chop to fertilize. Of course a tea would be already broken down, if you can put up with the smell.
