A most impressive Bamboo

Bamboo really is cool if you know how to work and co-exist with it.... If I spot most any type of bamboo or cane and some fishy waters, I know I'll have all the fish and snapping turtles I can eat... bank/set lines... let the bamboo fish for you!!

@judsoncarroll4 My brother and I used to fish with cane poles all the time.
One year when I needed reliable stakes for my garden I literally waded into a hoard of bamboo growing...That was one of the hardest WORK projects I ever took on. When I say 'waded' .. not in water, but that area close to a river bank, was almost nothing but bamboo.
FYI in case you didn't check out their price for a 3 gal bucket/free shipping... just under $100 smackeraroos..
How's your pain?

I'm doing a little better each day, thanks.... I guess, "manageable" is the best answer. I've often thought that I might write a book about fishing with a cane pole. That really is all one needs... most of what is sold is to catch fishermen, not fish.

I saw that black bamboo in a magazine years ago, it is visually stunning! I want to plant bamboo but will only do the "clumping" type as I don't want to be hung from my own spreading bamboo 😂

It is stunningly beautiful!

It definitely is a beautiful plant, but at that price I probably won't opt to buy a pot full any time soon. ;-) But I'd sure love to see a big patch of it... must be quite the sight!
