Japanese beetles
I have been removing Japanese beetles from my plants by hand. I have seen traps in other gardens. What is your best strategy for getting rid of these pesky beetles?

You will find answers in this thread:
Not long ago I found a unique way to "pick" potato beetles. I posted the video somewhere if a guy from the Ukraine with his potato beetle picking contraption. I thought it was on TGN, but I can't find it.
I had commented on it further. Maybe someone else can find it so that I can redirect you to the whole thread? If it doesn't exist here, I can rewrite my further comments & a description.
@LaurieLovesLearning That contraption is absolutely ingenious. I want one! And think how happy chickens would be when you opened up the box.
@blevinandwomba I know.
What you can do in addition to this, if you don't have chickens, is to squish these bugs, mix it well with water & water your potato plants with the mixture.
You will have no more problems with those bugs.
