Astaxanthin for joint pain and inflammation
I’ve been using two products grown and produced on the big island of Hawai’i by a company called Nutrex. I was initially looking for something to help with joint pain and inflammation and was also seeking a heavy metal detox. I have used Haematoccus Pluvalis Microalgae (Astaxanthin) and Arthrospira Platensis (Spirulina) with outstanding results.
If you want to know more, both Mercola.com and Nutrex.com provide extensive research on the benefits of astaxanthin and spirulina as a super-charged antioxidant. Takes about 3 weeks to see the benefits. I’m pain free as a result of using these products.

@sunflowerstressrelief what kinds of symptoms or diseases did you have before taking the products. It would be great to know for those of us who have these same joint and pain issues. Thank you.

Do you think Astaxanthin can help me with chronic neck pain ?

Thank you for sharing. I have a few family members that may benefit from this information.

Thanks for sharing. You learn something new everyday! I did not know spirulina was an anti-inflammatory. Just looked it up - it's also an anti-histamine too!

@sunflowerstressrelief , I take Mercola's Astaxanthin for brain food as finding authentic wild caught or organic salmon is so hard to find. good to hear that is more than that. Also, a model once told me tha ther mother took spirulina every day and her hair never went gray. Well, I lasped on the spirulina a few years ago. ooh oh - just was taking too many vitamins - but glad to hear people talking about it.
