Herbal folks, how's my disclaimer?

I added a disclaimer to my blog. What do y'all think? Is it okay, or do you have any suggestions to improve or change it? https://southernappalachianbitters.blogspot.com/

The information on this site is not intended to diagnose or treat any disease or condition. Nothing on this site has been evaluated or approved by the FDA. I am not a doctor. I am not even a "Certified Herbalist", legally speaking, there really is no such thing. The US government does not recognize the practice of herbal medicine and their is no governing body regulating herbalists. Therefore, I'm just a guy who studies herbs. I am not offering any advice. I won't even claim that anything I write is accurate or true! I can tell you what herbs have "traditionally been used for." I can tell you my own experience and if I believe an herb helped me. I cannot, nor would I tell you to do the same. If you use any herb I, or anyone else, mentions you are treating yourself. You take full responsibility for your health. Humans are individuals and no two are identical. What works for me may not work for you. You may have an allergy, sensitivity or underlying condition that no one else shares and you don't even know about. Be careful with your health. By continuing to read my blog you agree to be responsible for yourself, do your own research, make your own choices and not to blame me for anything, ever.

@judsoncarroll4 I think that all of your information is correct, but it needs to be more concise. Yeah...advice from the one who has too many words!
I will do a tough draft of how I would begin to rework it. But first, my disclaimer: This information might not be correct, so please take with a grain of salt. But before you proceed, please consult your healthcare provider before doing so. π

That is better - THANKS!
-
@judsoncarroll4 @LaurieLovesLearning great outcome, well done.
-
Well worded!
-
@judsoncarroll4 I do like the part of "...I'm just a guy who studies herbs." I think that describes many of us π
-
Thought it made the point very clear, good job!
-
@LaurieLovesLearning you did a great job on the Disclaimer. Is the disclaimer something we should use when we post?
-
I enjoyed that too. Its so Judson. π
@dipat2005 I don't think that you need to use that here. I think that is most likely already covered by TGN's disclaimer, wherever it may be. Otherwise, you could be posting it every other post or more.
Those that have more extensive herbalist training would need to weigh in on that a bit to clarify. I know that @torey will sometimes still post with a caution.
-
Oh... well @dipat2005 and @LaurieLovesLearning I'll work that into posts ... no worries. I know my limitations... and find more constantly.
-
While I enjoyed reading @judsoncarroll4 version, I think that @LaurieLovesLearning version is more concise and understandable.
-
Yes, Great job LaurieLovesLearning!
-
Great job on the official disclaimer, @LaurieLovesLearning , but, boy do I like @judsoncarroll4's wording. It shows his character. If you are starting a blog, @judsoncarroll4 I would post Laurie's in the official spot, but your version is good enough to publish somewhere else, perhaps with a link to the 'official' disclaimer.
And do let us know where to find your blog....

I like the personal version and the edited version is good too. But the personal version made me smile and helped me connect with you more. :-)
