I have made a very similar recipe before and it was very good. I have also experimented with other beans. Black beans make a nice hummus.

Anyone else have variations on hummus to share?

I've made chocolate hummus. You start with a plain hummus recipe, omit the garlic, and add cocoa powder and a splash of maple syrup to the chickpeas. I love it with fruit or pretzels.
