My annual visitor is back. Every fall, this little bird shows up and sleeps with its head tucked into the corner.

I'm not sure what kind of bird it is - I've never wanted to disturb it, so I only see it from the back. It is a tiny bird, that could fit in the palm of my hand.

Nah, occasionally, I'll pet it gently on the back. It seems to like that, but keeps its head down - never looks at me. Now... when the owl flies down my chimney on a cold winter morning and I have to catch it in a towel... yeah, we talk a lot. Beyond that, I call turkeys, doves, crows and ducks.... to the table!
