Night Sky...Looking up!

I know some plant by watching the night sky. I simply love watching the night sky, but often plant by the moon phase. Here are some points of interest for fellow sky watchers:

October 1 - Full Harvest Moon, October 7 - Draconids Meteor Shower, October 13 - Mars at Opposition, October 21 and 22 - Orionids Meteor Shower, October 31 - Full Halloween Hunter's Blue Moon, November 16 and 17 - Leonids Meteor Shower, November 30 -- Frosty Moon Eclipse, December 14 - Geminids Meteor Shower and Total Solar Eclipse, December 21 - A Great Conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn on December Solstice

December 14's Geminids Meteor Shower is always amazing, unless weather prevents the view.
