Need help finding a good herbal vet site.
Can anyone tell me does Dr. Jones have anything?
We just got a rescue dog and I'm realizing that I can't treat exactly the same way, and it's hard to find what herbs are okay. Looking for resources that aren't selling their products.
Paw licking advice? - could be - fleas/mites/ticks, infection, injury, allergies or anxiety from what I've read.
Does anyone use DE on their dogs? And I was thinking of some kind of decoction spray for infection/inflammation.
Feeling helpless, which is unusual for me and I don't like it.
TIA
Anne

This is Doc Jones' website: https://homegrownherbalist.net/the-new-website/
I looked in his online shop, briefly, and it seems to be more herbs for humans. But maybe there is some information in his blog or maybe you can contact him. There is a link to contact info on this page.

@alindsay22 Contact Dr. Jones.
You can post on his forum (an answer may be a while), also go through blog posts to see if you can find what you are looking for.

She does online consultations and has a blog. Perhaps you can find what you're looking for there.

Herbal Academy has a few blog posts on herbalism for animals: https://theherbalacademy.com/category/botanical/animal-herbalism/

There are a few books that have our interest. They are expensive though
We utilize molly's herbal and Land of Havilah.
We use DE on everybody. :) Chickens, goats, dogs, yard, garden. I haven't used it on cats. The flea collars work for them. We use serestro. It's just happens to be the only brand that works in our area.
Happy healing. You'll get there. Animals are hard to read. They don't show signs of illness easily.

I am lucky to have two local stores that offer all natural remedies for animals. My dog got diabetes this year and I put her on all narual herbal remedies. I just don't like the effects meds have on pets plus the cost.
My dog is doing very well
