Ever had a Barbecue Salad?

This is something you see rarely, and usually only around Lexington and Concord, NC. Real NC barbecue sauce is vinegar based, so it makes a nice dressing with a little olive oil. That is fried cornbread to the left and sourdough at the top.

The closest thing to a bbq salad I've mastered is eggplant, zucchini, mushrooms, capsicum, onion etc on the bbq. When cooked, add to lettuce, tomato, cucumber and top with a homemade dressing of olive oil, ACV, dijon mustard and honey. Gotta say, very yummy!
Your version looks great. I try to keep my intake of bread down though. I'm a middle aged woman, your a towering ball of strength!

"towering ball of strength" must be the Australian version for "sack of sugar".... which can also mean "full of s@#t" in Southern parlance.
