Welcome to the forum, @Udi315!
I hope that you will jump right in, when you are comfortable, with a comment to any of our posts or start a great discussion of your own. There are no stupid questions here and everyone is willing to help out if you need anything. It's a great group of respectful people, which is getting to be a rare thing nowadays, especially online.
I want to let you know about our FAQ area that you can check out if you need a bit of help navigating the forum. If you ever need to review the rules, you will find them in this area as well.
Again, welcome here. I am looking forward to your posts.

For now it's unfortunately Phoenix, Arizona. Although a beautiful state, desert isn't for me/us, so we're hoping to end up in E. Tennessee when we can finally move.
-
@Olya welcome! We are glad to have you here!
-
@Michelle D Thank you so much for the warm welcome! I hope to meet a lot of like-minded people here, even if virtually.
-
Welcome to TGN's forum @Olya. I'm not fond of desert, either, although we don't have much of it here in Canada. If I had the opportunity to visit Phoenix for awhile, I would be taking advantage of all the things (foods and medicines) that only grow in that type of climate.
-
@torey Thank you! I appreciate what our current place of residence has to offer, and I know I will miss some things, but I'm originally from Saint Petersburg (Russia) and my husband is from Oklahoma, so I long for more moisture in the air (he doesn't!), more green, more lakes, and seasons. Also, Phoenix is turning into another L.A. which is not our cup of tea at all. We'd like to be away from city people with city mentality.
-
Welcome to TGN @Olya Yes, the eastern US is much more humid and green. I've lived in E Tennessee, and loved it. Knoxville (and is city) has way too much pollution, but it's great in the country.
-
@Tave Thank you! Yes, that's what we want -- more country, and somewhere around Knoxville. Not too close and not too far though, because we have 7 kitties so we need to be able to get to a vet when necessary.
