I grow katuk. There seems to be some controversy about whether or not it can be consumed raw. Is anyone knowledgeable about this plant?

I've heard it's a tropical shrub, also known as sweetleaf. The shoots, flowers and fruit can be eaten. Has a pea like nutty flavour and eaten raw or cooked. Highly nutritous, with high protein. However if consumed raw in very large amounts can cause lung problems but you'd need to eat bucket loads for that to happen. Hope this helps.
