Found this little gem, just had to share. Only goes for 6 mins. This is what we should be all about. No flash gear for these ladies and it just makes you want to sit down and tuck in.
That looks very tasty. I bet it smelled good too! I like the simple methods, as much as it is a lot of work. But, really good food takes effort.
I need to get one of those wok-like pans that can take the heat of a fire (and be of a safe metal). I've seen similar on a cooking show when the hosts went overseas, but have never seen one here.
@LaurieLovesLearning looks like a plough disc but no hole in the middle. In Australia we’ve been known to use them for bbq, so great to let the fat escape. Not so good for this dish! Loved the simplicity of the preserved cherries.
