I see it having some benefit for the farmer, but who controls the access to and the treatment of this crop once it has been "modified". They are the ones who will be making the money on this. Scary and Sad.
This is sad. Gene editing is NOT the answer to everything. Good farming practices to naturally develop the plant characteristics that are desirable does no harm. Yes, it takes time. One day we may not even recognize our own planet.
Sad indeed. Sad that people are dying in this pandemic and pharmaceutical companies are profiting billions while the FDA is trying to get rid of natural therapies that can help. Tsk, tsk, tsk.
Why can't mankind just enjoy and respect what the earth has given us in its natural form?
