How To Make the Perfect Meal in 5 Easy Steps
The infographic below comes from Precision Nutrition. I really love this organization. I did thier 6 month fitness and diet program a few years back. SOlid, quality, science based info on diet, fitness, and nutrition. If you are looking for a coaching program to help you lose that extra poundage... or if you want to be a coach, this is a good group.

Thanks, @Marjory Wildcraft I will take a look at it and see if it helps with my meal planning.
@Marjory Wildcraft thank you for sharing this. With may family of 7 meal planning is critical. I'm always looking for ways to improve my methods and our health.
Hi @Michelle D I regularly use the 'plam sized portion' for estimating my meat size needs.
@Marjory Wildcraft my husband and always joke about the palm size portion. I look at my hand and think that there is no way could I eat that much meat in one meal. My husband on the other hand always says that there is no way he could eat that little meat for a meal. He does however eat that size portion most of the time because he eats what I make and I meal plan very carefully.
@Marjory Wildcraft Thanks for the link. There is a LOT of information on this infographic printout!
@Marjory Wildcraft This Info graphic is great! So much helpful information. And I like their description of serving sizes. Thank you for sharing it. 😊
Wow! This is awesome! Thank you so much for sharing this! It's so detailed! I love the example meals too! I mostly cook this way, but...i can't lie...I don't always use "healthy" carbs 😉
Thanks for sharing!
Nice infographic! I have forgotten the portion sizing and it is nice to have the reminder. Funny how the portion sizes seem to grow and "eyes are bigger than the stomach"!
@Marjory Wildcraft thank you for the wonderful ideas for meal planning and a great reminder of portions and what good carbs are all about.
