Liquid cleaner: apple vinegar + conifer needles.

Some time ago I wrote about do-it-yourself cleaner made of apple vinegar and orange peels. I am using it for cleaning everything at home: in the kitchen, in the bathroom... and I am really satisfied. Recently I heard of another idea: Liquid cleaner with conifer needles. I brought home a few fir tree branches and soaked the needles in self made apple vinegar. They will sit there for 2-3 weeks. I hope to have a new liquid cleaned with another flavour. It will be a disinfectant as well as both: vinegar and ethereal oil would kill germs. Still one week to wait until I try it out.

do you use some other plants for liquid cleaners? Any other ideas?

@jolanta.wittib I have been using baking soda and vinegar. To get black mold off my bread board I used salt, baking soda, and vinegar. I didn't use lemon juice. Before trying with the mixture, I asked my son for a piece of sanding paper and he said I wouldn't be able to get the mold off with sanding paper. Oh little does he know.

@dipat2005 Thank you for sharing how you get the black mold off bread boards. I will definitely try out your method. I have quite a few bread boards to clean

@jolanta.wittib I did get the recipe from the internet. I know that my bread board is 40-50 years old and that it has those itty bitty grooves in it.

This is a great idea. I'm going to give it a try. We trimmed several large branches off the Christmas tree and that will yield a lot of needles.
