Good Sources for Herbal Monographs

What are your favorite sources (websites, books, etc.) for herbal monographs?
(A monograph is basically a description of the herb, it's properties, and uses.)

I usually start with The Herbal Academy's Herbarium . Their monographs are extensive, and they have a vast collection of them. They make you join to get access though--$45 a year--but I suppose most online herbal libraries do that.

I just found this one yesterday. It's not as extensive as a paid subscription, but I think it's from the same group of herbalists. Honestly, though, what they charge for the year is so worth it.

The American Botanical Council has a lot of monographs on its website. This link will take you to the main monograph page where you can click on a variety of resources including the German Commission E monographs, the ABC Clinical Guide and some product specific guides. Check out the links in the Herbal Library in the main Tab Bar. https://abc.herbalgram.org/site/SPageServer/?pagename=Monographs
Not all are free but this is a very good resource.

I have a subscription to HerbMentor, and Rosalee de la Foret is the education director there. She puts together wonderful monographs, there, and on her own website.

Does the Herbarium ever go on sale?

The Herbal Academy often runs discounts on their courses (which is the only time they're close to worth the price, judging from the two I took). but I don't remember ever seeing a discount for the Herbarium subscription. (Though their courses didn't impress me, If you do frequently research herbs, want good reliable information, and can afford the $45, that subscription is worth the price.) You can always sign up for their free newsletter though, so you would be notified if there ever is a discount' And there are often free recipes, e-booklets and such in the newsletter.

I really like Herb Mentor's monographs most of which are written by Rosalee De La Foret.
