What happened to the time between Christmas and New Years?
After Christmas is usually my time--just sit back and enjoy everything.
I'm still looking for that!! This year well made plans flew out the window! It seems I'm just getting my head above water. I can't figure it out---I didn't go anywhere, so where did the time go? OK, I have been making a lot in preparation for 2021, but not 24 hr a day! Anybody else's time on rocket time?

I am retired and time is still disappearing each day. Mentally I know time stress was three times worse when I was working, but still?
Best guess is that we are staying busy PLUS there is a time distortion that adjusts with adjusting work/schedule loads.

@shllnzl Thanks---Your guess makes a lot of sense!
-
@monica197 love the way you put that---how true!!

Yeah it has seemed like time has really flown since Thanksgiving. At least for me. I forget what day it is most the time haha.
-
@water2world I know what you mean, time has flown. I don’t know what day it is! I have to refer to the calendar all the time, it’s doing my head in. Hopefully things will settle soon or I’m in big trouble.

I completely understand. That space of time is my usual time to work on a couple of things that need to be done before the new year and take a brief respite. However it seemed like I went to bed after Christmas was over only to awaken after New Year's was over. And I'm struggling to cope. It's as if my mind has lost all since of time. 😵
@jodienancarrow I can't even look at my calendar because I haven't yet bought one.🤦♀️ I had intended to get one after Christmas. And somehow that never happened. I need to get one pronto.
-
@karenjanicki Don't even ask me what day it is----I'd have to try and figure that one out! Lol
-
@jodienancarrow Maybe I should print out a calendar, that might help-----but I think I'm already in trouble!! LOL
-
@JennyT You summed up my feelings exactly---I went to sleep and wham---time had passed. The only thing is, I don''t feel as if I rested during that "long sleep"!
-
@water2world I didn't get any rest either. 😴

My husband has taken the week off from Christmas through New Years Day for at least the last 10 years. 2020 didn't permit that due to staff shortage. It was really strange because usually we cocoon during that time. Eat good food, talk about the year that was and the year to come. It has been our time to just be. Maybe we'll have that opportunity in 2021.

I know when I am not working which I have not done since June I tend to forget what day it is, I have tried to set up classes in my Calendar to help with the blurring of the days but that only works when I am on my computer, oh well.

@lewis.mary.e I'm hoping 2021 will be much better and we will have time to reminisce with loved ones!
-
@Lisa K At least you are trying!!

@water2world thanks 😊
