The Grow System
I don't know... I'll try to find out.
Silence is quickly becoming our most rare commodity.
And widespread anger seems to be our most populous commodity.
Silence, or at least quiet reflection, is the cure. We will never see peace or justice in this world. We will suffer and must accept that, somehow remaining in peace and gratitude.
@judsoncarroll4 I have always needed solitude to keep my mental balance. I am currently depending on my gym time to work off my frustrations.
I had an elderly friend who had purchased a home planning on leaving it to a close family member so to save headaches later had it put in that persons name during the purchase and she eould live there until she passed and make the payments herself. Later they had some issues and the person who was to end up with it was trying to take the home out from under her. A neighbor called ti say there was a real estate agent walking up and down the street with a for sale sign. She was panicking thinking the house was to be sold out from under her. I told her my favorite....
"Don't borrow trouble before you know its yours."
Turns out agent was looking for an empty lot next to her.
Perfect for TGN - "Bloom where you are planted." Not original, but I've seen it a couple times... I wish I knew who said it originally... I'm coming up with several results in my search. I will also try to think of my own to submit! Cool idea!
Cultivate a love for cooking so that, no matter how bad your day, you can look forward to supper!
@shllnzl I agree and feel that we enable too often.
Many things are cheaper than dirt, but few things are as valuable as healthy soil.
One can learn much of the simple joys of life from a good dog - looking forward to meal time and long walks, sitting quietly with a loved one, loyalty and of course, naps.
Now you made me go get my notes.
How to learn from a Dog:
Be loyal*Delight in the simple joys of a long walk*Make new friends*Hide your favorite snack*When loved ones come home, always run to greet them*Learn new tricks no matter your age*Unleash your talents
How to learn from a Cat:

There is no purpose in pessimism.
You can be pleasantly surprised.
Maybe I missed it, but I didn't see any post saying where we could send them or if we could do this. Did anything ever come about?
I think the voting/ranking feature didn't work out.
I had to share this one:
“What can be added to the happiness of a man who is in health, out of debt, and has a clear conscience?”
- Adam Smith
When it comes to life, the critical thing is whether you take things for granted,
or take them with gratitude.
~ Gilbert K. Chesterton
Oh, so cool, the Chesteron gratitude quote is at the top of the page now! I love it; it is so wise and I just needed to see it again today. So thank you to the person who puts the quotes up!
That would be @Shay @ TGN - thanks Shay!
