A taste of Manitoba: Honey Dill Sauce

This looks yummy! I love anything with dill. Might have to have chicken strips tonight to try it out.

I love learning about foods that have become traditional for specific areas.

I have another recipe that is mayo and honey based. Add enough mustard to colour it and curry powder to taste. Even my curry-non-tolerant hubby likes it.

@RustBeltCowgirl I like where you are going with this. I am thinking with Fish & Chips instead of tartar sauce.

@RustBeltCowgirl It would taste very good.

Let me know what you think of the sauce. (& @torey)

I was figuring this was some sort of mustard sauce ( not that that's a bad thing.) I'll have to try it once I get some dill weed.

I made chicken strips for dinner tonight so we could try out the dipping sauce. Very good even though all I had was dried dill. i'll bet it is much better with fresh. I will get some next time I go to town and try again. I will try the other variations as well. My husband is a big mustard fan so I think he will probably like that one the best.

I do think it would be very nice with fish.
