The Ultimate Dandelion Cookbook: 148 recipes for dandelion leaves, flowers, buds, stems, & roots...
I found this on Amazon while looking for something else lol...
Your link didn't come through, but I was so curious I just had to go over to Amazon to check it out. That's always a mistake--my wish list is too long already!
Besides this one, which looks really, really cool, the author has another on medicinal uses, and there's also another cookbook! The second cookbook only has 100 recipes, while the first offers 148. But then again, "dandelion moonshine" is among the 100..... I may have to get them all!😋
This is interesting!
@MaryRowe You found it but here it is on the book depository, and even they mention it is also on amazon lol..
@silvertipgrizz Oooooh....the "People also Bought"section on that page also shows another dandelion book and a dandelion and quince book! Not sure whether I am more seriously addicted to seeds or to books...probably a toss-up....But book sellers shouldn't do this to people!
The books get read and the seeds get planted and if I had to choose between books and seeds.... seeds hands down as I always learn and often by my own mistakes, and there are so many of you in our forum to ask.......who needs books?? 🙄 Actually I too am addicted to seeds and books, and fabric, and.........the list goes on.
The cookbook and medicine book are both really cool! Thanks for the links!
Wow, that's a lot more dandelion recipes than I have.
I could not believe I found that book and it had so many recipes, or that I have so many dandelions in my yard all spring and some of the summer so can't wait to use some of the recipes.
@MaryRowe thanks for listing the medicinal book and the book by Laura Sommers.
@silvertipgrizz definitely a great find and I am with you I cannot wait until spring!
So cool! I love dandelions! I enjoy drinking dandelion and burdock tea. It would be great to have more recipes. Thanks
@karenjanicki You're welcome. I'm hoping we all find new ways to use dandelion.....what fun that would be.
So many uses for that beautiful plant that my sisters call weeds. I have embraced dandelion and have gotten my daughters to look at it in a different light.
I too love seeds and books- well and dandelions!
