Rhodiola is an adaptogen and may also boost serotonin and dopamine. Any experience with this herb?

@stephanie447 i am drinking rhodiola tea after my shoulder surgery. To help with stress on my body. Time will tell as to what my experience is.

@stephanie447 I have suggested Rhodiola for tendon and ligament injuries as well as physical stress injuries (overdoing exercise) and it has worked pretty well in those circumstances. I suggested it once for SAD but it didn't seem to have any effect in that case. I have never tried it for depression or any other mental symptoms.

This is a link to Rosalee de la Foret's article on Rhodiola with some cautions regarding commercial adulterations. Robert Rogers (very experienced herbalist) has a formula on this page for a Rhodiola tincture that looks like a very good way to make it. https://www.herbalremediesadvice.org/rhodiola-rosea-benefits.html
