Are these eggs from a friend or foe?
I've looked online and can't find an ID for these eggs on my collards. If they're beneficial, I'll leave them alone. But something tells me they're not. Does anyone know what they are? Thanks.

@Tave I still have a lot to learn about pests. We had something like that on our kale. This is the info I found on it. I know that you are in a different climate so pests might be different there. I hope the link is helpful.

Thanks. That's what I was afraid of but couldn't find a picture.

@Tave I had trouble try to find it initially also. I ended up talking to local gardeners until I found someone else that had seen them. The were able to tell me what the caterpillars looked like and I found it from there. It's such a blessing to have people to ask and network with.
We really didn't have a hard time with them. The eggs were able to be removed without to much trouble. I must have missed one because we did end up with one of the worms, but one is better than dozens.

Spraying hard under the leaves with water occassionally will help knock off the eggs before they get comfortqable and attached. It will help control them naturally.
