Sorry!!!!

I should have included countries in the Northern Hemisphere first day of Spring discussion and first day of Fall for the Southern Hemisphere.

What are you doing to celebrate?

It's my annual First Day of Spring ritual: Just brought in my first basket of foraged greens for the official First Day of Spring omelette (fresh-laid eggs of course!) New dandelion leaves, chickweed, dead nettle, wild onion and wild garlic is what I could find ready for picking this morning. Seeing those beautiful little green plants reminded me of how much joy our ancestors must have felt, seeing the first spring greens after the long, hungry winter.

, I did some weeding, watering and trimmed my Chocolate-Peppermint Geranium and I am trying to root some of the cuttings. While I was out in the garden I found some bulbs coming up that I have not seen in a while since the gophers ate most of them!

I also noticed that one of my Azalea’s has two color flowers!

I'm happy it's finally fall in the southern hemisphere. The weather has cooled off and we had enough rain this summer that it has filled the reserves. I'm still trying to figure out what I want to plant.

@Tave Fall rivals Spring as my favorite season, when it is Fall it is my favorite and when it is Spring it is my favorite ,,,😄
