Earth Day 2021
Thursday 4/22/21 is Earth Day and even though I am back to working full-time I am going to try to get outside before work, during lunch and/or after work. Right now I am planning on trimming some of my roses, preparing some buckets and beds for more vegetables but mostly just enjoy the beauty of Nature. Are you planning on anything special?

Maybe pot up some plants. Or go buy some, hmmm. Thats sounds much more fun. Happy Earth day all!
-
@Denise Grant I like that idea of buying some!
-
I like the idea of making time to work with plants in some way even though it is a work day

That surprise snowstorm is gone, tomorrow and as far out as the weather forecast goes we're back to springtime again. So tomorrow I will celebrate both Spring's return and Earth Day by finally getting started on planting the garden!
-
Earth Day will be spent topping off my raised asparagus beds with earth and replanting them. Then we've got Dahlias and other bulbs to go in and weed eating. If I'm lucky, I'll pop a few seeds into egg cartons. Always something Earthy to do around here.

Happy Earth!!! So far today I spent about a half hour before work by cleaning up the garden.

The sun is out but there is still an occasional snowflake ;) But it improving and better weather starts tomorrow.
Today is a busy errand day but I found time to look at april flowers that are popping up. My small walk and garden classes will be my day of celebrating Earth Day
If I get home early enough I may drive up to the Audubon and walk their trails. Thats always relaxing.

Thrive Market--always a great place for healthy, non-GMO, fair trade, eco-friendly products--sent out this guide for ways to celebrate Earth Day. Lots of different and useful ideas.

I am so glad that something seems to be done by the politicians, not only by us for the sake of the climate and for the earth. I celebrate my Earth day 365 days a year!
-
@MaryRowe I also love Thrive Market!
@jolanta.wittib after I thought about we may not celebrate Earth Day every day but we certainly try hard to respect the earth on a daily basis.

At the kitchen store where I work, we encourage people to buy products that can be re-used, that are made with renewable resources or recycled products, and that reduce the use of throw away items.
Personally, when I'm out and about, I try to pick up trash to keep the neighborhood clean.

Unfortunately the last few days I haven't even been outside haha. I have been working on a final project for class so that took up a considerable amount of time. Plus it snowed. Snowed. Ugh.
-
I did work in the yard before work and did some watering at lunch but after work I only worked on my windowsill garden but not much outside.
But as @jolanta.wittib pointed out the TGN group either celebrate or honor nature on a daily basis.
